Abeiku Asare

Mr. Abeiku Asare is the CEO and majority shareholder of Asare-AB Company Limited, a Ghanaian incorporated company focused on establishing Ghana International Integrated Specialist Health Services ( GIISH Services ). GIISH Services entail the provision of high quality secondary and tertiary healthcare services through a chain of clinics, a medical research centre, an international medical school and several hospitals across Ghana. Although based exclusively in Ghana, the hospitals within the GIISH Services network will serve as premier referral hospitals in the ECOWAS region in relation to specialist treatments, like oncology and cardiology (for instance).

Mr. Asare has spent the past five years primarily focusing on the development the first phase of GIISH Services, being the Ghana International Integrated Specialist Health Complex at Osudoku, in the Shai Osudoku District of the Greater Accra Region in Ghana. The Complex will comprise a 500 bed hospital capable of delivering secondary and tertiary healthcare, an international medical school and accommodation facilities to house the hospital’s medical and other staff, as well as students attending the medical school. Abeiku is also the Executive Director in-charge of Finance and Administration at Precious Group of Companies, one of the largest real estate groups operating in Kasoa and Accra.

Mr. Asare after the emergency of COVID – 19 together with his British partners developed a number of 20-bed rural health centres to be built across the country. These 20 bed primary healthcare centres will help to provide universal health coverage by improving the accessibility to healthcare in rural communities with sub-districts. The World Health Organisation stress the importance of primary care; explaining that over the course of an individual’s life, primary health care can meet 80 -90% of their needs. Rural health centres are essential in supporting District Hospitals across Ghana and will ensure they will not become overwhelmed.

The facilities will provide small rural communities with the vital first step of care, in & out patient facilities that support minor operations, and full maternity care services. More complex issues can be referred to district hospitals where appropriate. A comprehensive network of referrals will be established, with rural health centres at the bottom and teaching hospitals at the top, handling the most complex cases.

This project will soon be actualized within the next few years. Asare-AB’s Current Projects: • Design, Finance, Build Operate, Own and Transfer under Concession with Okaikwei Municipal Assembly at Achimota @ 16.6 million USD (Construction period; July 2023 – July 2026). • Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) for the construction 20 Bed Mini Hospital at Aiyinase; November 2023 – November 2024. Client Ghana National Gas Company and Quantum Terminals PLC – @ 5 million USD • Construction and Equipping of Staff Housing for Awutu Bereku District Hospital – Agenda 111 @ 1.3 million USD Project Owner: Office of The President • Signed a Strategic Alliance Agreement with Philips Medical Systems to provide optimize solution for the financing of Healthcare Projects within the ECOWAS Region in 2019.

Mr. Asare is the former Chairman of the Research and Education Unit of the International Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants, USA. He has previously served as consultant on the Ghana Technology University College’s Infrastructure Expansion Projects between February 2015 and August 2017.

Mr. Asare holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from UK, Bachelor Laws (LLB) Degree, Master of Science in International Accounting and Finance, from United Kingdom, a Bachelor in Science in Accounting from Ghana and a Juris Doctorate Degree Candidate (second year student) in California, USA.

He is a Certified Forensic Public Accountant (Forensic Certified Public Accountants Society, USA), and a Chartered Forensic Accountant (International Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants, USA).
