Dr. Mannan Waru Mustapha

Dr. Mannan Waru Mustapha is a visionary leader, seasoned business consultant, and transformational strategist whose work spans corporate leadership, international development, and organizational growth. Born on June 2, 1968, in Jumapo, Koforidua in Ghana’s Eastern Region, he has built a distinguished career grounded in service, innovation, and a deep commitment to community advancement.
He holds a Doctorate in Science in International Business and Corporate Leadership from Western Orthodox University, a Masters in Public Administration with a specialization in Management, and also a Degree in Public Administration from the Islamic University in Uganda. In addition, his academic journey includes a Certificate in Community Development from Makerere University, Uganda, and an Advanced Certificate from Takoradi Polytechnic in Ghana—reflecting his lifelong dedication to continuous learning and professional excellence.
Dr. Mannan’s career began at the Ministry of Defence, Teshie, where he served as an intern with the Field Engineers from 1993 to 1994. His early exposure to development work includes his service with British Aid in the Kwahu Sub‑District in 1991. In 2003, he joined Junior Chamber International (JCI), a global nonprofit operating in over 155 countries. His consistent contributions and leadership earned him the distinguished honor of Life Member/Senator in 2010.
A dynamic business leader, Dr. Mannan revitalized Saf Impex Ghana Ltd. as Managing Director, steering the company’s growth in food production and commodity processing. His strategic insight and financial acumen also positioned him as Senior Adviser to SIFIN Ghana Ltd., where he played a pivotal role in strengthening the organization’s reputation in import financing, collateral management, international procurement, and warehousing. His leadership helped the agency become a trusted partner to numerous businesses across sectors.
Dr. Mannan currently serves as Board Chairman of SIFIN Ghana Limited and General Manager of Black Wall Street Africa, a subsidiary of Black Wall Street Arizona. His influence extends across multiple fields—he is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Waste Management (UK), President of the Ghana Federation of Hand‑to‑Hand Sport (a Russian combat sport), and a Peace Ambassador with the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), headquartered in South Korea.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Mannan is driven by a passion for service and personal development. He enjoys reading, traveling, writing, and supporting the less privileged. His life’s work reflects a powerful blend of leadership, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to empowering individuals, organizations, and communities across Africa and beyond.
